8 Ball Tutorial

This tutorial will teach you how to create an 8 ball like this one: Step 1:
Start off by creating a new document (300x300) with a green background.

Step 2:
Create a new layer (Ctrl+Shift+N).

Step 3:
Press "D" and set white as foreground color. Select the "ellipse tool" and make a circle while holding down shift:
Step 4:
Right click the layer with the ball on it and select "Blending options" Use the same style options as in the screenshots below.
Inner shadow:
Inner glow:
Satin:
Now the ball should look like this:
Step 5:
Create a new layer (Ctrl+Shift+N)

Step 6:
Select the "ellipse tool" and make a white circle while holding down shift:
Step 7:
Right click the layer with the white ball on it and select "Blending options". Use the same style options as in the screenshots below.

Stroke:
Now the ball should look like this:
The last part is adding the '8' on the ball.

Step 8:
Create a new layer (Ctrl+Shift+N)

Step 9:
Select the type tool, use Arial, size 100, bold and type a black 8 in the middle of the white circle.
Now you're finished!
